BVMI, which provides healthcare to uninsured workers, is headed to a 5,000-square-foot facility at 75 Essex Street after seven years on Moore Street.
The new space will allow BVMI to treat more patients and stay open on evenings and weekends, Executive Director Amanda Missey told Daily Voice.
BVMI will also expand its services to include diabetes, obesity, and women's health programs, she said.
"We are going to be able to do so much more for our patients," Missey said.
The current 3,400-square-foot facility, which has housed the organization since its inception in 2009, will be torn down and rebuilt as multi-family housing and retail space.
